Use one backing plate for both wool and foam. Rounded edge substantially reduces risk of burning painted surface from the edge of the backing plate. More defined rigid construction allows for increased durability, easy self-centering of hook backing plate, better control with high speed buffing action. The ORANGE foam is an "everyday" medium cut pad for average/medium to light oxidation. A DYC exclusive!
